The realities of remote work these days means we’ve expanded our hiring radius. Louisianan Michelle Cronvich is Planet’s newest Senior Account Executive, working from her NoLa hometown, while gaining a (usually-virtual) foothold at Planet.
Though she was born in London, not on the bayou, Michelle grew up in the Big Easy, and most recently worked at the city’s Peter Mayer Agency. Michelle’s mostly focused on our Duluth Trading Company account, building on her past experience with brands like Hancock Whitney Bank, Grocery Outlet, and New Orlean’s mainstay, Zatarain's.
As is the Planeteer way, Michelle spends her off-hours on a range of recreational pursuits. More on that:
What’s a skill or hobby you picked up as an adult?
Does becoming an obsessed cat person count? I started living and breathing cats when I started to feed a neighborhood cat in college. Now officially the mom of 2 beautiful cat boys.
What’s a DIY skill you learned during COVID?
Cross-stitching because...why not?!
What’s your favorite sport to participate in?
I just picked up boxing. Pretty terrible at it but it's a good workout so I plan to stick with it.
What’s your favorite productive hobby and why?
Interior design. I love focusing on one room at a time and finding great steals on Facebook Marketplace to bring the aesthetic to life.
What’s your favorite non-productive hobby?
I love socializing and dining out. There are so many delicious places to eat in New Orleans—I love to go check out all of the new spots. I love good food, good cocktails, a good atmosphere + good company. And of course, I love spending time with my husband, Jimmy, and daughter, Penelope!
