Planet Propaganda: Pancheros

There’s a lot to love about Pancheros Mexican Grill, but it's their fresh-made tortillas that really set them apart from all the pretenders.

Maybe you’ve seen the TV spots Planet produced for Pancheros that tout the importance of the fresh-made tortilla (watch Tiny Ball of Dough and Tortilla Friend). Now we’re helping them spread the gospel further with a tortilla-focused digital UGC contest.

We all know that a burrito with a fresh-made tortilla is better than the alternative. When the Pancheros faithful visit the contest landing page, they’ll be prompted to create their own “better with” slogan by completing the following: “A burrito without a fresh-made tortilla is like _______ without _______."

The contest is being promoted with in-store posters, clings, and postcards, and through Pancheros’ social media. The cream of the crop will be animated by Planet throughout the campaign (kinda like the one above), and delicious daily and weekly prizes will be awarded. It'll be a lot of fun creating a bunch of goofy just-in-time animations based on user submissions.
